SENATOR LEIBHAM RECEIVES KEY GRASSROOTS ENDORSEMENTS FROM PRO-FAMILY GROUPS
Wisconsin Right to Life and Pro-Life Wisconsin
Endorse Leibham Re-Election

Sheboygan…Today, State Senator Joe Leibham (R-Sheboygan) announced that two key pro-family grassroots organizations have endorsed his re-election to the state senate. The Wisconsin Right to Life Political Action Committee and the Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund, two of the states leading pro-life, pro-family grassroots organizations have enthusiastically endorsed his re-election to the Wisconsin State Senate.

"I am honored to have the early support of these two pro-family, pro-life grassroots organizations," Senator Leibham said. "During my time in the legislature, I have worked to lead the way on pro-family, pro-life issues and I appreciate their support for my candidacy."

"Throughout your distinguished legislative career, you have been a courageous supporter of public policy initiatives that would uphold the sanctity of all human life," said Bonnie Pfaff, Chair – Wisconsin Right to Life Political Action Committee, when commenting on her organization’s endorsement of Senator Leibham. "Your deep and abiding respect for the most defenseless members of society is deeply appreciated by the people of Wisconsin Right to Life."

"Your commitment to protect each and every innocent human being coupled with your solid voting record on behalf of preborn children clearly make you the best candidate for pro-life voters in the upcoming general election," said Mary Matuska, Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund PAC. "From banning human cloning to facilitating cord blood donation, your exceptional leadership in defense of human life is a blessing for our state."

While serving as a legislative leader on pro-life, pro-family efforts, Senator Leibham most recently led the bi-partisan effort in the State Senate to pass legislation that was then signed into law to inform expectant mothers of the life-saving medical benefits of the donation of umbilical cord blood.

Senator Leibham is the fourth oldest of thirteen Leibham children and he and his wife Heather are expecting their first child in January 2007.
